- How do the covers work?
The covers place each blow-draw pair of reeds in its own tone chamber, formed by dividers that run front-to-back under the covers
- The slide has some unique features. One interesting feature is the slide button, it’s at the back of the harmonica, not the front. This can make it easier to work the slide while cupping the harp
- Another fact about the slide is kind of unorthodox. Instead of being a flat piece of metal, the slide is a half-round piece of plastic about a cm in size
- You will feel a slight suction when you move the slide while drawing, and a quick pressure drop while exhaling
- One major reason that many harmonica collectors love about this model is it has a GREAT profile for tongue blocking!
- How do you take care of it?
Sterilize it first. You need to completely disassemble it, wash all the parts in warm water and mild soap, scrub off any crud, rise and dry it. Don’t use bleach due to its corrosive effects
- When cleaning, be careful of its screws and springs. Place small parts in a jar lid or something. No parts should be left over
